Accor Design Awards. A decade of creativity. A decade shaping the future of hospitality.

Celebrating 10 years of the Accor Design Awards, this milestone highlights a decade of discovering emerging talent and shaping new perspectives in hospitality design.

Since 2016, this initiative has brought together hundreds of projects, each offering a unique vision of hospitality design.

Each year, Accor provides the competition brief. Students have the opportunity to help shape the future of hospitality, compete with other schools and cultures, benefit from mentorship, and work on a real-life operational case study.

Their ideas are reviewed by leading hospitality experts and a VIP jury, chaired by a different renowned international designer each year, who together select the winners. The Public Choice Award is decided through an online vote.

Winners are invited to an exclusive two-day experience, including the awards ceremony at an iconic venue and a guided tour of a major international art fair.

An exhibition dedicated to the 10th anniversary at HIX looks back at a decade of this global interior design competition for students and highlights the outstanding work of this year’s winning students, who envisioned a new generation of modular and flexible meeting and event spaces for Pullman, designed to foster creativity, interaction and collaboration throughout the day.

Sustainability was central to every proposal, encouraging participants to explore bold, forward-thinking concepts that minimise environmental impact through greater energy efficiency, reduced carbon emissions and more responsible material choices.

Young designers bring a fresh perspective to the hospitality industry, combining creativity, bold thinking and innovation. They have a strong understanding of today’s trends and lifestyles. There is no doubt that the winners will help shape meaningful places that make an impact, both within hospitality and beyond and Accor is proud to support them during their journey.
