At Baumann Dekor, sustainability is at the core of our creativity and innovation. As a textile factory with continuous R&D, we are often left with fabric cuts that are beautiful but commercially unusable. We believe no waste can be termed as waste until it is wasted. So, we give every cut a new life through upcycling.
Our latest development, upcycled shoes, transforms our fabric offcuts into unique sneakers in partnership with Plaeto Shoes, known for innovative design, comfort, and technology.

Made from striking satins, textured chenilles and more, and on display at our stand, each pair features one-of-a-kind colors and patterns, with every shoe packed in an upcycled fabric bag. Plaeto’s high-resilience cushioning, tilt lacing, and roomier toe box provide comfort for long, demanding days on foot.

With Plaeto’s facility located close to one of our production units, material travel is kept low. Plaeto shoes also have a 50% lower carbon footprint than an average athletic shoe, supporting their journey towards net zero.
