Step into the glamour of Orac's immersive Art Deco-inspired bar at stand B8
At HIX this November, Orac will present an immersive 32m² Art Deco-inspired bar that reimagines the traditional exhibition stand as a destination in its own right. Designed to encourage conversation, exploration and connection, the space will offer visitors a place to network, discover materials and experience decorative design in a fully realised hospitality setting. Inspired by the architecture and interiors of 1930s London, the concept draws influence from iconic landmarks such as Claridge's, celebrating the enduring appeal of Art Deco within contemporary commercial interiors.
The installation will showcase Orac's latest Art Deco collection, including coving, mouldings, skirting and wall panels. Originally launched in response to renewed interest surrounding the centenary of the Art Deco movement in 2025, the collection reinterprets the era’s distinctive decorative principles for contemporary interiors. At HIX, these elements will be brought together within a fully realised hospitality setting, allowing visitors to experience how architectural detailing can shape the character, proportion and atmosphere of a space rather than viewing individual products in isolation.
Created in collaboration with selected partners — Parkside Tiles, No Rules Wallpapers, Kazzar Lighting, Crown Paints, ILIV Fabrics and Oasis Plants — the stand will combine Orac products with stone, lighting, fabrics, paint finishes, wall coverings and planting to create a richly layered environment.
The result is a contemporary interpretation of the decadence, sophistication and theatrical spirit of the Art Deco era, brought to life through an immersive hospitality setting.
