Mid-century and concrete-era hotels are some of hospitality's boldest buildings, but they were designed for very different guests. Using The Chancery Rosewood, Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus, Sheraton Stockholm and The Standard Brussels, the panel compares faithful restoration with new buildings that borrow the era's look. It also asks how to modernise these buildings without alienating the guests who love them.
